Palma International Boat Show 2026: dates, scale and what is worth seeing
29 April to 2 May 2026 on the Moll Vell, 295 exhibitors, more than 300 yachts, and a new build hub of 5,000 square metres at Club de Mar.

The Palma International Boat Show 2026 runs from 29 April to 2 May, daily from 10:00 to 20:00, on the Moll Vell in Palma next to the old town and the cathedral. The show gathers 295 exhibitors and displays more than 300 yachts, and it is the event that opens the Mediterranean season for the whole western basin.
The site
Marina Moll Vell offers 80 berths of up to 45 metres in length with a draft of 5 metres, which is what allows the show to put large yachts inside a working city harbour rather than out at a trade fair site. Yachts over 24 metres, for sale and for charter, are grouped in the dedicated Superyacht Village.

The new build hub
The separate 5,000 square metre space at Club de Mar holds 21 premium berths for new build yachts in the 35 to 80 metre range, which is where the large sailing yacht yards show what they have delivered over the winter. For anyone tracking the sailing superyacht market, that quay is the reason to come.
How to use four days
The show is walkable but dense. Charter brokers use the first two days, when the yachts are quiet and crews have time; the weekend belongs to visitors. Anyone comparing charter offers should bring the same three questions we set out in our guide to what a charter week costs: the APA percentage, whether VAT is shown, and whether the yacht holds a valid Spanish charter authorisation.
Why Palma and not somewhere else
The show sits on top of the largest refit cluster in the western Mediterranean, and the two feed each other: yards deliver in April, the fleet is in the water, brokers have the season ahead of them. The industrial half of that story is in our piece on the 1,000 tonne travel lift.
